Coleman Molete Teboho (born June 21, 1997) better known by his stage name Braces is a South African Independent Recording Artist, songwriter and rapper. Born in Odendaalsrus, Kutloanong in the Free State Province of South Africa. When he was eight years old,his father died.His mother spent a lot of time away Cause she was working in Gauteng, Johannesburg in order to make an earning to feed Braces older brother and Braces himself.Braces was subsequently raised by his late grandmother who died in 2017.Braces started singing and rapping at the age of 10 when he was in Primary school.Braces has cited Rapper Tupac as his biggest influence, “[My other older bro]” put me on Tupac’s ‘All Eyez on Me’ album, and that was the first album that made me want to start rapping .I started listening to him daily and singing what I heard.”His other influences include Michael Jackson,Jay-Z,50Cent,Lil Wayne, T.I, Meek Mill,Nipsey Hussle and J.Cole.In addition, Braces listed Drake, Phora ,Tory Lanez, Beyoncé, XXXTENTACION,Travis Scott,Kendrick Lamar, Future & Young Thug as impactful to his musical socialization.In 2018 He recorded His first EP(Extended Play) titled “Bare With Me”(BWM EP), which included 7 songs.
